Check the Contacts, Leads, or Accounts you want to mail — the same checkbox selection you'd use for any other Salesforce list-view bulk action.

The problem with exporting to Word
Salesforce has no native "print mailing labels" action. The documented workaround — pointed to in Nonprofit Success Pack (NPSP) community discussions and support threads for years — is to export a report or list view to CSV, open it in Excel or Google Sheets, run a mail merge into a Word label template, and format it to match whatever Avery sheet is loaded in the printer.
That workaround works, but it means every mailing run is a multi-app detour: export, clean up the spreadsheet, merge, check the alignment, print, and repeat next time the list changes. Any typo fixed in Salesforce after the export doesn't make it onto the labels unless someone remembers to re-export and re-merge.
PrintCrate replaces that whole detour with one action launched from the list view itself — the label sheet is generated from live Salesforce data at the moment you click, not from a spreadsheet snapshot that can drift out of date.
Label sheet sizes
The library currently has 12 Avery templates, all active: address labels (5160), shipping labels (5163, 5164), return-address labels (5167), file-folder labels (5366), business cards (5371), name badges (5392), postcards (8387, 5389), half-fold greeting cards (3265), and event tent cards (5305, 5302). Geometry is confirmed against Avery's official template PDFs (the 5302 tent card uses a simplified fold-pair layout). Greeting cards and tent cards print as flat panels — you fold them by hand. Does this work with Leads and Accounts, not just Contacts?
Yes. The list-view action works from Contact, Lead, and Account list views. It has been tested against a live Salesforce org; a full hands-on click-through of the buttons is still in progress, so if you want to be among the first to try it, reach out for early access.
Does data leave my Salesforce org?
No. The PDF is generated and downloaded entirely within your own org session — there's no external API call and no data sent to PrintCrate's own infrastructure as part of label generation.
Do I need a separate Avery software license?
No. PrintCrate builds the print-ready PDF itself, laid out to match common Avery sheet dimensions for reference. Avery is a trademark of Avery Products Corporation, and PrintCrate isn't affiliated with or endorsed by Avery.
