PrintCrateAfter you pick an Avery template in PrintCrate, a field picker lists the fields you can already see on the record; name and mailing address are pre-selected, and you add or remove any field to control what prints on each label.
How the field picker works
- Select records and click Generate Mailing Labels, then pick your Avery template.
- The picker offers the fields on that object that your own Salesforce user can already see. It never shows a field you don't have access to.
- Name and mailing address fields are pre-selected by default. Tick others, such as email, phone, or a custom field, or untick ones you don't want.
- Click Generate PDF. Each record becomes one label, badge, or card with the chosen fields.
Other objects
Contact, Lead, and Account each have a one-click list-view button. Other objects, including custom objects, go through the standalone Label Generator app page from the App Launcher: pick the object and records, then follow the same template, field and generate steps.
If the mailing address field is missing
This happens only for users on a very locked-down, custom-built Salesforce profile. Salesforce, not PrintCrate, controls who can see the address fields on Contact, Lead, and Account, and no permission set can grant it. An admin can move that user to a standard-or-higher profile.
